Messaging & Website Development for Salish Landing

Client Introduction

Salish Landing is a proposed mixed-use development in Tumwater, WA. As the development team prepared for the Washington State Governor's Ball, they identified the need for a public website to communicate the vision for Salish Landing which centered on service to the community, providing housing opportunities, and honoring the indigenous heritage of the region. The timeline was tight, but the impact that a polished message would have would be worth it.

Process

After conducting stakeholder interviews, I developed for Salish Landing a messaging document that articulated the project's vision and the the values that would guide the development's progress. Armed with this document, I wrote the web content and designed and produced a brochure website in Squarespace – in time to make a splash at the Governor's Ball.
