On the safari, people with cameras were charged an additional fee based on the focal length of their lens. 125mm, such and such a rate, 200mm, some amount more than that. When the guide came to me and asked how big, I said, “Seventeen.”
"Seventy?"
"Seventeen. One seven."
The guide laughed a little and waved his hand, moving down the aisle of the van to other camera holders.
